Day 29 & 30

 Day 29...this is the reason why I didnt post last night, had a MIGRAINE, first on in 2 weeks!! Physio is helping!! But now that I look at Day 30's pics it actually makes me me laugh, this picture should be below. HAHA.

 DAY 30, THE RECORDER, is there anything worse? Broddy played hot crossed buns and old macdonald for me. OUCH! :)

 Mackinley has the flute in band, she can FINALLY blow into it.

Darcy and I were so lucky to have a hot crossed buns concert. YAY!

Day 28

Day 28. I had good intentions on putting a bunch of great pictures on today of our little hockey team get together at our good friends the Jordan's, BUT I FORGOT MY CAMERA!!! So this picture will have to do I am making soup tonight for the week. Mmmmm hamburger soup. YUM! This afternoon we had a great time at the Jordan's like I said. They have a fabulous rink so the team played lots of hockey with lots of hockey fights and only tears from one boy. The girl siblings then got to lace up their skates and practice their figure skating skills. Fun was had by all! Small towns are GREAT>

Day 27

Day 27 is Broddy and his best friends in the whole world Cole (Cojo). They have known each other since they were teeny tiny. They met at Ditch Lake and have been dubbed every duo name out there, Bob & Doug, Thing 1 & Thing 2, Dumb & Dumber (hee hee), you name it we have called them. they have never gotten in to a fight, they defiantly are 2 of a kind, partners in crime.....BEST BUDDIES!

Day 26

Day 25

Day 25 is one of my guilty pleasures....I love candies!! I know they are not good for me at all. But a .25 cent candy bag at the rink makes me happy.

Day 24

Day 24. poor Peanut, he got to be the brunt of our joke today. See what happens when you have no idea that something is stuck to your nose...you get your picture taken. I do believe he has a little piece of popcorn stuck to his nose. Ha ha Poor Kitty.

Day 23

Day 23. Kinny's new favorite cereal. When we were in Minot Kinny found the ultimate cereal. PEANUT BUTTER CHEERIOS. She is my peanut butter junkie. Must take after her Auntie Kerri-Ann. I tasted one and thought it would be great with a banana in it! Yum. Hopefully these will be in Canada soon.

Day 22

Day 22. This is my new favorite drink of choice. Water with a whole lot of citrus fruit. It quenches my thirst with a teeny bit of sweetness. I vow from this day forward NO POP until summer and then maybe none then too! (hope I can live up to my vow...eek, coke is my weakness.)

Day 20 & 21

 Day 20 & 21. Saturday Broddy and his hockey team played in Boissivein. We nipped over to Minot from there and stayed at the Sleep Inn attached to the Dakota mall. Fabulous place with 3 water slides (though one was not working at this time). Craig and Julia Senchuk and the kiddies stayed with us we had a great time.

Sunday The boys played hockey in Bottineau. But before we had to rush off to hockey we did a little power shopping, kids had a ton of fun checking out things that you cannot get in Canada. Fun was had by all. Thanks For a great weekend Senny's.

Day 19

Day 19. Here is the most wonderful lady I ever had the pleasure of knowing for 32 years of my life. My Gran, Marjorie Sigurdson. Gran I miss you every day of my life. There are times that I want to pick up the phone and call you. I want to jump in my car and take a road trip to Cypress River to see you. But I cannot. It hurts my heart that you were taken away from me way to early. I love you with every single beat of my heart and that is how much I miss you as well. Some days I cry because I miss you so much and other days I laugh to think of the memories ~ oh the memories. The best memories I have is spending my summer holidays with you. Uncle Tom and Auntie Barb would babysit us since you had to work at the Cafe. I loved going to the Cafe and having a deep fried pizza pop, I can still taste them. I still smell the cafe. I remember the red carpet. Christa and I had the best times together at your house. you would only let us go for very short walks to the post office which really was only 2 houses or so away. When I look back now I see how much you spoiled us. Christa and I now that we are adults and have our own kids, we certainly see how crazy we made you sometimes. Your hair probably turned white from us two! some of my favorite memories where, blowing bubbles out of green onions (oh Gran that really did taste bad), playing with the old wall paper books for hours making dream houses, and you making us terrible glue to use on those projects. I remember you drinking coffee in the mornings and we couldn't say the word "coffee" or "gum" near Scooter your Chihuahua or she wouldn't stop barking until she got some. I remember your snoring oh it shook the house :), the many many many layers of wall paper on your little house wall! Watching your stories with you. We both were so sad when Another World went off the air. I loved when we we would call each other and talk about the "dirty bitches" on Young & The Restless. I miss your belly laugh, I miss playing cards with you, Rummy (I have not played since you died Gran, I can't even remember how!) Farmers poker, 4 kings in a corner and many many more. What about you with the Proclaimers CD, who know my Gran was really that cool? (I did). I could go on all night with the memories. There are many times that I stop because i smell your perfume, I will stop what I am doing and have a little chat with you. What I would give to hug you one more time, spend another night with you! Anything! But I also think I am glad you are not longer in any pain, and for that I am very grateful. I love you with all my heart. Love you forever and until we meet again.

Day 18

Day 18. This is what happens when you are tired from 2 days at Ag Days. Poor Darcy woke up earlier than his usual time this morning to get ready to go to his 3rd day at Ag Days. So when you are the first one up and showered, you have to make coffee, but one has to remember to add the coffee grounds to make a good strong pot of coffee. This looks a little weak.

Day 17

Day 17. What can I say? Day 17 makes me happy! I love love love Coronation Street! I have loved this show and not missed an episode for years. It dates back to when Darcy and i first got married and there was no satellite YET out in Sidney. We had 3 channels and this is what we would watch on Sunday mornings. I was hooked! I can be in the crankiest of moods but I hear the Coronation Street Music and it takes all my worries away & makes me smile. I know that most of you are Corrie Street haters, give it a chance, watch it for 1 month and you to will be hooked! 2 of my very best friends love Corrie street as much as I. I even have 3 shirts with Coronation street on them. I have laughed and cried through this show. When i grow up and retire I am going to live on Corrie Street. (No one burst my bubble by telling me that this is not a real street, it is just a show!) I want to be friends with Becky and ohhhh Tommy Duckworth is so yummy, spend my time in Rovers Return Pub and have lunch at Roys Rolls and Supper at the Bistro! Anyway this is another peek into my EVERYDAY. (We are 9 months behind England so sometimes i will go on you tube and watch ahead because I just can't wait to find out what is going on! I just can't help it!)

Day 16

Day 16. Today's photos are a bit strange to some people. My favorite part on the human and animal body is the ear. I have no idea why. I love my ears so much... when they are cold. I hate hot ears.I call them "beautiful ears". I have to touch them when they are cold. When my kids come in from outside I HAVE to touch their ears as well and the poor cat and Darcy too. My older sister Kerri Ann has this smae fetish (don't like the word it sounds dirty and this is not a dirty thing.) You will catch me playing with my ears and that will be because they are beautiful HAHAHA. Now you know a weird thing about me. I bet I am not the only one that is strange right???

Day 15

Day 15. My favorite Picture. How this picture came to be in my house, kind of a crazy story. 2 years ago I went to an Angel Reading party at Kim Halcro's I asked the Angel reader (Deb) if this was it for me work wise, am I just going to be a Health Care Aide my whole rest of my life (don't get me wrong, I LOVED my job). I just wanted to know more. She told me that I would be working in the public (with some public speaking  eeek...) and that I would work smarter not harder (as in manual labor like the care home). Then she told me that I really should read the Secret. Bah....really this is a bunch of hokey I thought. WHATEVER. Wasted my $35. Oh well wasted more on worse right? A month or so goes by and my Sister Kerri Ann calls me up and is so excited and she tells me "YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK, IT'S CALLED THE SECRET, its amazing and life changing". I get freaking chills! So I rush down to the library and see if they have it on audio or the book, they had neither but the Librarian says, "we do have it in our sale bin on video, would you like it??" YES!!! how much? She replies it's only $1.00 no kidding $1.00. i never carry cash and don't always have change but i dug to the the bottom of my purse and grabbed all the change, it was exactly $1.00. OMG! It was approximatley 6 months later that the job of the EDO came up and I applied for it, not I work smarter. Who knew!!  Now if you have ever read this book, listened to the audio or watched the video you would truly understand what i am going on about. Anyway not sure if this blog makes too much sense to anyone but I know a handful of people that will get it. Oh so how this picture came into my home, last year i had a Dundee party in my home and this was one of the pictures that was there!! It was destined to be in my house.

Day 14

DAY 14, Started out with a pancake breakfast. Doesn't Peanut look impressed to have pancakes? Darcy jumped up to grab a glass of water and Peanut was quick to take his place.

 After a very busy Saturday, we had another busy Sunday. We travelled to Portage for a hockey game. The 4 girls (siblings of the hockey players) went swimming while the boys played a great game of hockey.

Day 13

Day 13. 1 word! EXHAUSTED. Carberry Skating Club...1 word, AMAZING! We held the Regional StaSkate Competition today, I was so proud to watch Mackinley do her singles. Mackinley...1 word, PROUD! She did her very best it was heartwarming! This was the first year since mackinley joined the Skating world that I got to sit inthe stands and watch her skate and the synchro gilrs skate. I LOVED IT!! Carberry coaches are....1 word, FANTASTIC!  Picture 1 and 2 are the great men in my life, they were off to Hartney for a hockey tourney, but they stopped at the rink to watch Kinny skate. Now to have the biggest glass of lemon water (I know not near strong enough, but I did not drink enough water today, so time to hydrate.) Til Tomorrow all. Two Words... GOOD NIGHT.
